has anybody here had there gallbladder removed?if so did u have trouble with stomach after wards?

i didnt know i needed mine removed but now my stomach hurts really bad on the left side and up to my chest. the pain makes me cry and everything i eat runs through me now.

Yes. None at all ever since it's been gone.
I had a laproscopic gallbladder removal in 1996. The only lingering complications seem to be infrequent irritable bowel syndrome. I've know two other people who have the same results from their gallbladder removal. Drink lots of water, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from fried foods! Good luck.
My dad had his removed and has to avoid any foods that are greasy or spicy.
Having your Gall-bladder removed shouldn't affect your stomach, due to the fact that the gall-bladder only excretes "bile" into the large colon where the small intestine is connected to the colon. This is a great distance (if you uncoiled your intestinal tract) from your stomach to the gall-bladder. The gall-bladder excretes bile into the large colon in the opposite direction of flow from the stomach. The bile it ejects goes directly into the large colon, and therefore should have no affect upon the stomach. It may affect your "stool-habits" a little (if at all).but that would be the extant of it.
I had my gallbladder removed in 2000 aand since then i have had constant irritable bowel. Wish i never had it removed oh I also stacke don about 50kgs. But so many ppl i have talked to have no effects at all. I say talk to your doctor
Yes, I had mine removed a couple of years ago. It was removed because I had gallstones and the doctor said that they could come back if i didn't get them removed. Those things hurt like crazey. But the only stomach pain i had was for a couple of days after the surgery. When he took out the staples, those didn't even hurt.
