i shaved my pubic area and then the pores got red or somethin. what can i do next time to make it look better?
can i just use nair?? shaving doesnt get all of it, like not close enough to the skin. i dont want to wax it myself and im not gunna go to a salon
Answers:
Let me do it!
nair
use a special lotion like african american men use. Ask around. I cant remeber the name of it though.
I wouldn't use nair on that area of the body. If you find a good moisturizer, it may help after shaving. Waxing would probably be a good option as well.
it says on the nair container that your not supposed too use it on that area. so i wouldnt do that. but you could try to use lotion nex time you try and shave that might work.
Don't use Nair down there. Which way did you shave in an upward motion or a downward motion? On the pubic area shave downward to avoid red bumps and skin irritation. On legs shave in an upward motion,
get some clippers and do it.and when u get done whip the area with some rubbing alcohol. u will be able to get real close..have fun oh forgot take a bath or shower when done to get the excess hair off it should look great.
No, don't use Nair. I know a couple of girls who did and they both had reactions to it and had to call the hotline. Try using Venus razors and pull the skin taut. Always use a fresh razor, not too dull or it will irritate your skin a lot. Other than that I don't know what else you can do. I've tried many things and nothing seems to help much.
Perhaps if you can find some shaving cream with Aloe or Oatmeal that would probably help as they have special skin conditioning ingredients in them. Good luck!
go to Adam& Eve. They have this saving cream called "Coochie Cream" it works wonders.
invest in a product called bikini zone. They have shave gel and and after shave gel that will help eliminate the rash, and prevent it next time.
Put baby oil on after you shave while your still damp it works pretty good, and the next time you shave make sure the razor you are using is new cuz old razors will cause razor burn.
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

i shaved too like all the time and like i use lotion and 1 time i used shaving cream they both worked for me
Buy a special pubic shaver. I have one called Hair eRazor and it works great for very sensitive areas. The blades don't actually touch your skin so there is no worry about cuts and also no razor burn. Worth every penny.
Oh, i got mine off eBay!
Shaving doesn't that hurt? avoid the razor bumps and use a good detail trimmer.
