This is a rather odd and sensitive question to ask. However, recently I dated a woman with a comparatively small clitoris even when she was fully aroused. There seems to be no difference in sensitivity -- But any constructive advice would be wonderful.

Most of the women that I have known have had what one might call "small" clitorises. It has been my experience that they are about the size of a small pea on average and do not really get a lot larger even when fully aroused, even to the point of orgasm (they seem to swell and get harder at that time) One point to consider though is whether your ladyfriend has adhesions between her clitoral foreskin and the actual clitoris. Many women have such adhesions which prevent the head of the clitoris being fully exposed right down to the sulcus or ridge (yes, women do have one!) and would make it appear smaller. Have a look and if you cannot expose a definite glans with a clearly defined small ridge round the base, she should arrange to have a doctor break the adhesions down to free the glans. It will look rather larger afterwards and she will experience much enhanced sexual sensation. Hope this helps.

I don't think there is any "normal" size.
Spend more time on foreplay, some women need at least 15 minutes to become fully aroused.
It is all in the technique.
