Hi all, can i be pregnant even after i took an emergency pill after 12 hrs.?
i had unprotect sex with my man, and the same day i started my pees, the next day i took an emergency pill, coz am scared i might be pregnant. my normal pees normaly tke 4 days, but this time they went for a week. do you think i might be pregnant??

As long as you took the pill within the 72hr limit your fine. You should expect some bleeding, which explains why your period went on for longer. The pill sheds the lining of the womb so that no egg has attached itself.

The emergency pill has to be taken ALWAYS in 2 sessions. First pill you have to take it the first 12 hrs after having sex and you have to take the second pill same day, after a few hours.like another 12 hours. So, if you had first pill at 6AM, take the second one at 6PM. Taking only the first pill won't protect you from an "unwanted" baby.
