How many kilojoules can a person consume per day?
for a female which is 23 years old but doesn't do any exercise.
Answers:
there are really two mesure that you should be concerned about.
Firstly kilojoules is seldom used nowadays. More often calories or kilocal are used. To be precise..4.4kilojoules = 1kcal.
So i will use calories as nowadays most food labels and website use that. So to ansawer your question..you say you are 23 yrs old and a female...but you did not mention your weight. But nevermiind...for an average females..with little exercise..you would consume roughly 2000plus calories. Your basal or resting metabolic rate should be around 1500..
One word of advise.if you are thinkign of reducing weight by cutting in food intake and calories pls do not go below 1500, your resting metabolic rate. This is becasue you r body takes it as a sign of starvation and you would be sabotarging your efforts of weight reduction. Your body then try to keep the weight on then taking it off.
So try to reduce it slowly so that your body has timt to adjust. The best is to cycle it so that your body does not see a pattern. I mean eating th enormal anount somedays and reducing your intake for other days. Also try to incorporate exercise.that really quickens the weight loss by increasing you metabolism rate and amount of muscle you have which are calorie hungry.
i Hope this helps. If you need more information , I would love to help. Email me.
Cheers
2000Cal it's enough to maintain your body in a good shape
