For missed pills, you should consult the leaflet that came with your medicines - it will tell you EXACTLY what to do. FYI - if the pill is making you nauseated, taking 2x the dose will only make the symptoms worse - AND leave you less protected against pregnancy.
As for the nausea - it may or may not be related. However the rule of thumb is ill-feeling within 45 minutes to 2 hours of ingestion of the medication; 4-6 hours is a bit of a stretch. However, if it continues to happen, consult your doctor. A suggestion might be to change the time you're taking it - like right before you go to bed. That way if you DO have a problem with the drug, you will probably sleep through it or it won't be as severe because you won't have food in your stomach to have it interact with.
nausea and vomitting is a normal side effect of birth control pills. So is lightheadedness, dizziness, mood swings, etc. Especially if this is the first time you have been on birth control. It is very normal. You should continue to take your pills everyday. If you miss 1 pill. take it as soon as you remember and take the next pill as sceduled. If you miss 2 pills, take 2 pills the day you remember, and 2 pills the next day, and 1 pill everyday thereafter, and use back up birth control (condoms) for 7 days. If you miss 3 pills, continue taking 1 pill everyday until Sunday, then throw out the pack and start a new one, and use a condom for 1 month.
