Cortistone,Shot's in Heel,3 times in2006.Muscle aches,painfull all over ?

Is this side effect's?Feel's like the Flu from cortisone.Thank's For Info.

I had the same thing a couple of years ago(7 years ago) I was having terible pain in my left heel-especially when I first got out of bed in the morning. I would go to get a cortisone shot and it would work for like 3 months and then bam it would be back--after going through this cycle for about a year and a half I went to a specialist who ex-rayed it and found a cyst. I had surgery to remove it and it ended up being a ganglion cyst?? never really found out what caused it?? strange??
