is caffeine good for pregnancy?

Answers:
a little bit is okay, but if it were me, id try to wean myself off of it completely. its like drugs, babies can be born with caffiene withdrawls if they're exposed to it in the womb.

You can drink some but not alot.
It has been reported that caffeine is not good for pregnancy. Many people stop drinking caffeinated products during pregnancy. Expect a headache for a while if you stop caffeine, eventually they will leave. Also, talk to your doctor about this.
no! its not good for healthy kid.
No
Absolutely not!
NO is not good for the baby.
It makes babies really really crabby for a the first few days.
Not necessarily. You can still enjoy your favorite caffeinated drinks as long as you don't overdo it. After years of controversy over the issue, most researchers now believe that, although caffeine does cross the placenta, moderate amounts (less than 300 milligrams a day) won't harm your baby. That's about what you'd get from two or three 8-ounce cups of coffee or six cans of cola. (Keep in mind that the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee varies widely depending on how strong it is, and that your serving size depends on how big your mug is — a typical mug holds about 10 ounces.) Many pregnant women limit their intake even further or cut out caffeine completely. If that seems wise to you, you won't get any arguments from your midwife or doctor.
I have always heard that it is not good during pregnancy. When my friends were all pregnant, they cut out caffinee completely. I would ask a dr though.
