Your doctor needs to start running tests to make sure there is no underlying cause of your severe pain. I kept telling my doctor about my excruciating pain and she said I was fine. I went to a knew doctor and it turns out that I not only have cysts on my ovaries, but I also have adenomyosis (a disorder that can only be cured by having a hysterectomy). My point, some pain is normal during your period. Severe pain is not. You doctor needs to make sure there's nothing serious going on.

ibeuprofin
this may sound reall really stupid and im not too sure about it myself but my friend uses 4head when she has a headache when also uses it across her stomach when she is experiencing period pains, she says it gives her a soothing senstation and makes her feel much better.
You need to inform your doctor. While some menstrual pain cannot be avoided, severe pain can be a sign of endometriosis. Get checked by your doctor.

Hi

ask your doctor for mefemamic acid. It will sort you you out a treat. Other than that, are you on the pill as this can reduce the heaviness and pain of your periods. I suffered badly when i first started periods all them years ago! Never had trouble since.Talk to your doctor as very pianful periods can be a sign of endometriosis.

Have you ever tried Mefanamic Acid tablets/capsules. They're a non -steroidal anti inflammatory drug and you'd need to see your G.P to get a prescription, you can't buy them over the counter. I know quite a few people who find them helpful for period pain.

Learn to spell.

If you take to more than the advised dose of paracetamol it can poisen your system and you overdose. The paracetamol will stay in your system and when you take more you top up and re-overdose

go and see your doctor,he can prescribe something to help with the pain and also the flow if it is heavy.i was on mefanic acid and it was fantastic for the pain.i expect there are many other pain killers that the doctor can give you.
I suffered pains for almost 10 years and eventually went to doctor. Given prescription that works a treat, better than any over the counter remedy. See your doc.
