When you don't feel comfortable or they don't help you or you disagree with something. I don't necessarily think women are better. I have a very good male gyno!
when you don't trust yours or when they make u uncomfortable
both should be about equal
cuz ur old DR doesn't work anymore and yes sweetie - women r always better!
When you don't understand or trust the one you have.
It doesn't matter the size, shape, sex, or color, just how long they have been a doctor, and their experiance really, though women may be better, for they know what you are going through, even though, some men only train in a womens body.

If you question anything about your doc. get a new one. You should feel 100% comfortable with your doctor. Women arent any better than men. It is all what you are comfortable with. If you have a problem with someone on the doctors staff you should tell the doctor about it, if you have a problem with the doctor talk to him about it. Open communication goes a long way.
I changed doctors when i got insurance, but some other reasons are you feel like your doctor doesn't care or you didn't feel comfortable with them. I have had male doctors most of my life but some women feel better having a woman doctor because of pap test and mammograms and feel like they are talk to there girl friends about things.
