Can Sleeping on you stomach prevent pregnancy?
My Bf and I have had intercourse for the past weeks and I wanted to know if my sleeping habits, such as laying on my stomach can cause problems when conceiving a child. Can the pressure of my weight prevent a pregnancy. I know many of you guys are not doctors but does anyone have any opinions. I am not stupid and I know how reproduciton happens but once the egg is fertilized do you think my weight might cause it to not attach it self to the interwalls of my uterus?

NNNNOOO! At this stage, if you are trying to get pregnant, nothing like that can prevent pregnancy. Your egg is the size of a dot that you make in a paper with a pen and a sperm is ten times smaller. Laying on your stomach, doing crunches, punching yourself in the stomach, nothing like that can prevent pregnancies at this stage. After a few months of pregnancy, doing crunches become painful and laying on your stomach becomes uncomfortable. Your body will let you know when it is time to lay on your back and sleep.
no your sleeping habits wont affect it.. I know people that got pregnant the first time they had sex. So, weight can be an issue when trying to conceive, and it might mess up your periods and the like. But in general, how you sleep isnt going to affect it.
I'm pretty sure that your sleeping habits can't prevent your chances of becoming pregnant. Good luck. :)

a friend of mind sleeps on her stomach before she got pregnant. she's actually adjusting to sleeping on her back since her tummy has grown bigger. i dont think your position while sleeping has anything to do with your conceiving. if you're having difficulties getting pregnant, i advice you to go to the doctor.

NOPE. It is not a matter of gravity. Sperms will move any way, and your ovule will move to.
