It could be that your body is just getting used to the pills but I would let your doctor know. Also, if you are having breakthrough bleeding then your pill may not be at a high enough dose. You will likely go through many different brands before you find the one that is right for you. Contact your doctor and let him know the problems you are having.
If you are getting headaches from the pill you need to report this to your doctor. Migraines are a common side effect of birth control pills.
U need to wait a little longer, it might be that ur body is still getting used to the new birth control
Call your Gyn. What you're experiencing is not normal.
Birth control is just DOWN RIGHT WRONG!!
If you want to have sex and not get pregnant that is your problem cause i know i waited
you're usually not supposed to start taking your bc until the sunday AFTER your period. you won't get it until you get to your sugar pills. your body is still trying to get used to it, it might take a few months.

if you're really worried call your doctor.
Hopefully someone gave you a preg test before giving you the script.
If they did and you passed, then assume that the pills which imitate pregnancy are causing the side effects.
If you are having a lot of side effects from that particular pill call your doc and have them change you to another.
There are over 50 types of pills at this point in time.
You should take a pregnancy test just to be sure. If you are pregnant you should not be taking the pill. Also, it can take up to three months for your cycle to become regular after you start taking the pill, so if you're sure you're not pregnant just give your body a little more time to adjust.
What? This is a jumbled mess. If I had to guess what you're asking, I'd assume you're worried you're pregnant. You most likely are. Stupid people usually get pregnant.
taking "the pill" or other hormone method of birth control is very serious to your body. You'll experience all sorts of adverse side effects, that personally, I don't think are worth it. Also did you know that the pill is an abortafacient? That means that if you conceive (which happens in the fallopian tubes) the lining of your uterus isn't healthy enough to support the fetus because of the drugs and the baby is lost through bleeding like a normal period. So you are actually setting up your body to abort spontaneously if you do get pregnant. Another caution is that after several years on this type of birth-control the crypts (the sponge-like material on your cervix which holds the vital sperm and keeps them alive up to a week) are eroded over time. This can lead to great difficulty in conceiving later when you do want to have a baby when you're married and wanting to start a family. Couples sometimes have to try for years, which is very stressful and costly if they try other methods of fertilization. Your best bet is to stop taking drugs to change your body's natural function and use your head and self-control rather than the "easy" way out, in the long run, there is nothing easy about this over-exaggerated safe sex method of birth-control. You and your body are worth so much more, don't settle for less.
first of all like one above said, usually you start taking pills the sunday after your period starts (or first day after it ends), if u take the placebo pill and u didn't start your period, still take it on schedule- if u miss a pill take it when u remember, u can take 2 in one day instead of skipping- & other post about getting pregnant problems, no contraceptive does not affect fertility or cause pregnancy problems cuz its fake hormones, if u get pregnant stop using all birth control and u should be fine- ok headaches and tender breasts are very common side effects when u first start the pill, so is spotting, nausea & a few other things- stay on schedule and stop if any side effects get worse or continue after 3-4 months see a gyne cuz things should be normal by then..i been on pills a while and have never been so regular also cramps are a little better & lighter flow- fyi, its been shown bc pills can help prevent uterine and ovarian cancers
please look this up, every female should know this stuff whether or not u use contraceptives, here's sites with good detailed info.
