A lot of people confuse breast cancer with fibroids. Fibroids are very common and non-problematic. They feel like lumps and can be very painful right around your period. Cancer is symptomless..unless it is already in its late stage. Breast cancer appears at the early adulthood but most commonly in later years (late 30's). You can do breast examination by yourself at home. Some brassiere brands have instructions on their lables on how to do this. Inspecting for unsusal growth (tumor) and tenderness on certain areas in your breast can give you a sign that you should see a doctor.
