Why does the first days of my period it smells as if something died inside of me?

The first two days I guess you can say is really heavy flow I could be standing up and just gushes out.I think everyone can smell this foul odor it almost makes me want to throw up.

Answers:
because something did, every time you have your period you are shedding the inner lining of your uterus, thus dead tissue is being flushed from your body. I would not suggest using douche, however there are several over the counter products that can help mask the odor, however if it is overpowering and you think something is wrong you should see your doctor. Don't be embarrased about it. it is their job to take care of you no matter what.

thats just how it is sweety...
cuz ur nasty
cuz it is blood. so change your pad every hour and you won't stick. and get sceted pads ; D
thats what it does, flushes the nasty **** out to make room for the new
It's dead cells and eggs that weren't fertilized. Using good hygiene and keeps your area cut short can help with this odor.
have you tried washing yourself between chaging pads? and it is perfectly normal!
From personal experience, during the the first 2 days, being that the period is heaviest at this time, more blood is accumulating on the pad or tampon. My suggestion is to use pads and change them Very often, every few hours, and you'll notice a big difference. Remember that in a way, something has died inside of you, since your body is getting rid of dead tissues that would have become the lining to protect your baby had you gotten pregnant. Like every bodily function that involves removing waste from the body, it is never going to smell pleasant
