Here's some sex education for you: gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, unwanted pregnancy.in other words, wait until you are married!
There are a couple of links below for sites that are geared specifically for teens. While I agree with most people that abstinence is safest and most teens are not emotionally ready for sex, I think that denying access to information is not the way to protect them. You need to know this stuff so you can make an informed decision. If you choose to have sex (and I really wish you would wait), then be sure to use condoms EVERY TIME. Buy them yourself, don't rely on the guy to provide them. You are responsible for your body. Only condoms can provide protection against sexually transmitted diseases. However, you should consider a second birth control method in addition to condoms, such as the pill, because nothing is 100% effective. Also, sex is very personal. It's like giving away a part of yourself to someone else. That goes for ALL forms of sex - not just intercourse. Make sure you really want to give away a piece of yourself before having sex. The only person whose opinion matters is your own. You'll only be in school for a couple more years - after that you'll find that those people whose opinions meant so much are no longer in your life.
