since I started my period at the age of 12 my periods have always been 13 days , Now for the last 3 months they have lasted 5 to 7 days . could I be starting to go through menopause? Other women I have talked to have said this is what happened to them then one day they had no more periods .
Answers:
Dpends on your age. Somewhere between 40 and 50.
I am 50 and have not had a period in a year. Thank God.
But, Menopause has been the pits!
How old you are has more to do with menopause than a change if your periods. Talk to a doctor, don't rely on AnyQA.coms for personal health questions.
No, it is normal for your period days to change. You don't have to worry about menopause for another 40 years or more. Some girls periods even skip a month or two, or come irregularly. You should be happy that they are not 13 days anymore, that is horrible! You might even have only 3 day periods when you hit your 20's, this is completely normal! Look forward to that!
