Grils... what do you think?
Answers:
I'm a pill taker, but if you're thinking of switching from Depo Provera to NuvaRing, I'd say go for it. DP has way too many unpredictable side effects (although if you've been on it, you know for sure how your body deals with the stuff), and it can leech calcium from your bones causing osteoporosis. NuvaRing has the same side effects as birth control pills and OrthoEvra patches, and those side effects tend to be milder than what DP can do. More importantly, NuvaRing doesn't hurt your bones. and if you find NuvaRing to be a little bit uncomfortable during sex (many women don't notice it, but some do), it can be taken out during sex and put back in afterwards without interfering with efficacy.
i was on the shot for 2 years and ever since i have had many many problems...2 different doctors told me they believe more than 1 of my problems is linked to the depo provera shot...if i were to take birth control I would stick with the pill
