Discharge?!?!?!?
Answers:
I take it you're young and havent gotten a period at all yet - well its simply something that goes along with it - usually before your period every month, some women have more than others, and you can start getting it a bit up to 2 years before you start your period, so you're definitely within range.
Discharge is 'wetness' coming from your vagina. When you ovulate (usually, but not always mid-cycle) you do get more discharge.
yes most of the time it does mean that your period is coming it can also mean you have a yeast infection too so if you are itchy it could be that
Discharge is fluid coming from the vagina. It does not mean your period will start soon, as every woman gets it at some Point. Vaginal discharge is completely normal in Women of all ages. It is abnormal when the discharge starts to smell, or change colour. It is normal for it to be a creamy, white colour - it should be pretty thick. It is also normal for it to be see-through, and for it to look like 'goo' - this usually only happens occasionally. If the discharge changes colour, and goes green, orange or yellow, then it's time to see a doctor because it could be an infection. You should go the doctor even if it smells sourly, but doesn't change colour - this could also be sign of infection.
Discharge does often happen close to your period. It may be runny or even a thick mucusy consistency. Discharge also occurs during sexual arrousal to lubricate your vagina in case sex does occur to prevent any vaginal tearing that may occur with sexual intercourse. It's perfectly normal. If it is a problem, just stick a scented panty liner in your underwear. I reccomend Carefree. It smells nice, absorbs wetness, and keeps your underwear clean from discharge.
Okay discharge does not necassarily mean that your period is ganna start soon it can just mean that your cycle ran into a few problems. Discharge is a fluid that comes out of your body when you are not even going to the bathroom. It can look like slim sometimes but it is nothing to worry about it can be a problem if it appears alot but thats not likely.
If your discharge has a bad smell, brownish or cheesy looking, be sure to go to your doc for a pap smear...
Clear discharge is normal for women as long as it is not too much!
depends on what kind of discharge youre having..normal discharge can happen anytime before or after your cycle, and its normal if it is light and just clear..and not mucousy like an abnormal one would be..if it smells and or is tinged with blood or color, you should see a gyn..hope this helps..
