That statement is not entirely true.
What is true is this, a person with small ears and nose as a child will wind up with LARGER ears and a LONGER nose than a child that has "big ears" and a "big nose"
Seems things even out as life progresses. The kid who got made fun of in school because of his/her large ears or long nose wins in the long run.
Take note at your next high school reunion and see that this is indeed a fact. Some of those small eared and short nosed students in grade and high school have nearly doubled in size and length.
