Birth Control:Confusing packaging!! I took the wrong pill :(?
Hi!
I just started on the pill.. i got my period 3 days ago and took my first pill on that day. However, I looked at the packet today, and realised that on the first day of my period i accidently took an 'inactive pill' and that i took 'active pills' yesterday and today.. (ie the second and third day of my period)
What effect will this have?
When will it be safe to have sex?
Thanks!!
Answers:
The "inactive pills" are just reminder pills, they don't' do anything. It takes a couple months for the birth control to be effective.
you have to wait more than a month for the pills to work anyway, so I would take the active pills and continue on.
