Yes, I am 29 years old and I still feel self conciouis but not about my body. I just feel like I am not as smart as other women. I know it's stupid. I have a great job and I am really good at it too, but I will always feel like I am not that smart.

Many girls feel that they are constantly on display, being judged by guys as well as other girls, being compared to the impossible looking women in magazines or equally impossible looking celebrities.
this is very true i dont know what it is but i must say i was fat once and now im skinny i feal so much better know and get more looks from men then ever im married now and have kids so all i can do now is enjoy the looks
It is VERY true. Girls are constantly bombarded by ads, cheerleader, hot girls who can wear whatever they want whenever they want and get all the hot guys. People like myself can't wear hotpants, sleveless or tight-fitting shirts because all the "extra flesh" would be showing.

Every girl is never satisfied about their body. That's why there is PLASTIC SURGERY.

Sometimes, it might be because of their boyfriends, or to gain attention of the opposite sex. First impression. No one wants some fat girl at the first sight. Only hot, slim, barbie doll ones.
