Has anyone tried laser hair removal on their face and it really worked?
Answers:
I did it to remove my sideburns (family trait). It's pretty expensive so I never finished the treatment, but although I didn't complete it, it's much better.
Be sure to visit a licensed doctor who has done this procedure many times before. There can be side effects to doing it if done incorrectly or with a machine that doesn't work well for your skin type, if applicable.
I had it done about 2 1/2 years ago. It worked temporarily. Unfortunantly my hair growth is caused by PCOS so the underlying problem (insulin resistance/hormones out of whack) is still there so the hair growth has come back.
I had two treatments a few years back and it hurt like hell. Its very fast but it feels like a very hot rubber band snapping you really hard. If I would have continued to go it would have worked but it became to costly.
you don't need to try it, just DO IT '
I did. The threrapist was very incompetent. She ended up burning a hole in my cheek and jaw. There are patches of hair that come back and other places are smooth and raw. All my kids make fun of me now because when I breath, I sound like a donkey braying.
