Many things, from humid conditions, poor health, stress, too much alcohol, or even overactive sweat glands. You can see if air conditioning helps, or go on a more healthy diet and exercise program to lose weight. If none of that is working, you can get tested, and if your glands are overactive, there is surgical treatment available to remove them with good results. Also, I like degree solid deodorant. It works really great.

alot of it can be just you, active sweat glands are not a rare thing..i have had sweaty pits for along time. i find that if your a guy ..shaving the hair or trimming it short helps alot..and use a deorderant designed for it ..i cant remember the name but its at walmart a green container and it starts with a M, it has a high concentration of the ingrediant made to atop sweating.i find that nervousness really makes them active to
I'm not quite sure what it's called, but it's this condition where the sweat glands in your underarms are overactive. You should ask you doctor about it, if it's a major problem.

Heavy under arm sweat can be caused by several factors.
1) Hyperhidrosis. This is a medical condition that causes a person to sweat more than needed.
2) Psychological reasons. If you get easily embarrased you can sweat more.
3) Physical. For example, overweight people can sweat more because their body tends to get overheated more easily.
I have had great success greatly reducing the sweat caused by all of these using an anti perspirant called Certain Dri, which can be purchased in drug stores.
