For women only, men will regret reading this question?
Just wondering if any other women experience this. When I'm menstrating for the first 3 days, I feel so much pressure down there, especially when I'm standing up. I feel like everythings going to fall out. It's gets worse after each pregnancy.
Answers:
I have pressure down there too, but it's right before I'm going to start. Depending on how many pregnancies you've had, you might want to get checked for a prolapsed uterus (literally means your uterus is coming out through your vagina) Kegal exercises are supposed to help keep those muscles tight and help prevent prolapsed uterus and bladder. Hope this helps.
And to the person that said "sex will often put things back into place" don't listen to them. A man's penis cannot reach the uterus, the cervix, maybe, but not the uterus. Just try mydol and if that doesn't help, get checked for the prolapsed uterus. And "tacking" it back into place won't be a bad thing. It's either that or getting it taken out.
haven't had a period for a few years, but i do remember that feeling. midol. lots and lots of it. naproxen too
I feel a lot of pressure and gas, kinda like I didn't put a tampon in right *even though i did*. it's annoying as hell.
I'd recommend standing on your head during this "period," just to be safe.
See your doctor you may need alittle tuck up there. Common problem.
I get the same feeling, don't no why.I was told it is normal for some women
Yes, sometimes. And a Doctor will eventually want to "tack" your uterus into place. Don't let him do it.
Sex will often get everything back into place.
yes i really regret reading this question. my curiosity put me again in trouble. how can i turn back the time before i reading this question? LOL. cheers!
I always get that. I often have so much pressure that I feel like I have a UTI. So since I have the same thing- I hope it's normal!
you might want to talk to your ob-gyn there might be a medical reason for that much pressure,, I have reg cramps and stuff but don't usually feel like anything like that?
Sorry,,
Sounds like your uterus has collapsed which is common after pregnancies. You may need to have it removed.
i totally agree.it sucks
i get that too..except i havent had any kids..lol yah midol works..or even advil or ibuprofin or whatever
Wow,I never feel that but then again I never delt with morning sickness with either of my pregnencies. I would say that it is normal though because every woman is different. I know that sence the bith of my last child I have more pain before the menstral and after. It's no big thing though. Talk to your docotr about it. Doctors give good advise on those type of things.
It sound like the excess fluid may be causing a mild prolapse of the uterus. During the first 3 days the lining of the uterus is thick and heavy, thus pulling downward when you stand. As the flow starts, the uterus lightens. You may want to have your OB/GYN check you out. It can be repaired, and does not mean you have to have your uterus removed. You might also try Kegals it strengthens the floor of your pelvis and might prevent the need for surgery.
Don't you hate that wish my boyfriend knew how it felt
I'm answering all 3 of your open questions because you seem like a nice person.
I know some of my female friends have had horrific cramps yet this sounds like it may affect a pregnancy.
Keep a log for 1-2 weeks and write in it every day whether you are having problems or not. Take this to your gyno, it will help them better understand what's going on. Also explain the threshold of pain (1-10) or however you want to rate it.
