Still pregnant after ectopic pregnancy??

My doctor was concerned about an ectopic pregnancy and he couldn't see the baby on the sonogram. so i had surgery about a week ago and it was an ovarian cyst and the baby wasn't in the tube. today i went back and PHM levels are still going up. can i still be pregnant??

Answers:
if the doctor couldn't identify the baby in the initial sonogram, then it's possible that it was an early intrauterine pregnancy (1-4 weeks after conception). Beta hcg levels rise rapidly in the beginning of pregnancy but will plateau or drop when something is wrong (ectopic prenancy, impending miscarriage). If yours are still going up, it's possible that you may be pregnant. Since the baby wasn't in the tube you should ask for another sono to check for intrauterine pregnancy

Your body thinks your pregnant.
You certainly could be. I really hope everything works out for you!
Adter having an ectopic pregnancy it can be very easy to become confused about your condition if you had the operation and then your PHM are still rising. That happened to me and it was very traumatizing because I wanted to have a baby. But I did lose my child. You should go back to you OBGYN and have him clear things up for you so you can rest assured.
take a test
An OTC test will just check hormone levels, so go back to the MD for a more pervasive analogy
You possibly could. I would go back to see your MD, quickly!
