Reason For Dropped Uterus?

I'm only 20 and I went to the gynecologist for the first time last month and was told that my uterus had dropped to less than an inch from the opening of my vagina and has fallen to the opposite side. He said if he never would have asked he would have thought I'd have had at least 2 or 3 kids. I've never had children, never smoked or been chronically ill (a lot of coughing can cause it), never lifted weights, or have had constipation issues. These are the main causes of it. Does anyone know why I, at such a young age, would have this? It has caused me to have endometriosis which is extremely painful, and I need a uterine lift through surgery to fix.

You must have had naturally weak muscles that hold the uterus up. It does usually happen with older people. At least it can be surgically fixed and won't affect your ability to have children.

You just are one of the random unlucky ones. Good luck on getting it fixed. I bet your bladder will feel better too once it is repaired.

I think you are confused.
You may have endometriosis, and a dropped uterus. but the dropped uterus didn't cause the endometriosis, which is seeding of the endometrium outside of where it belongs.

I personally would get evaulated for the "Zebras"

it is a rare problem that happens when female systems is developing in this cause your uterus has taken the toll the best thing for you is surgery i wish you all the luck.
