can somebody help?

my last few periods have been really painfull. i have vomited and not been able to go to school because they have hurt so bad. i am extreamly irregular and my periods have lasted from 10-15 days before. my cousin and my aunt have endometriosis. i told my doctor about my cramps but she didnt really seem concerned but mentioned birth control. can a fifteen year old have endometriosis? could it be a cyst? i was just wondering from somebody with experience or someone with the same symtoms.

To answer your questions, yes a person your age can have endometriosis or ovarian cysts.

If your periods are this dibilitating, you need a thorough evaluation before they just try you on birth control.

I think you need to see your doctor again. Any menstrual irregularity that lasts more than 3 cycles needs to be checked. I'll say it again, what you're describing is not normal and needs to be thoroughly evaluated. If your doctor just blows you off again, find another doctor.
