You can try state and federal agencies such as Medicaid and Medicare (links below), and you can also visit free clinics (link below). In addition to these links, I’ve also included addresses for the Bureau of Primary Care, which can help you locate your local health department. Every local health department in the United States gives people without insurance access to medical care and prescriptions. Major cities have "free" clinics everywhere. No one goes without treatment in this country unless they consider themselves "above" using the "free" clinic and make a conscious decision to suffer rather than "go there". Please, just look in a local phone book and go to your local health department or free clinic. "free" means no cost if you can't afford it. Does not mean free to everyone regardless of income.
