Answers:
Is it ok? Yes. Should you? This is personal preference. My preference is for a woman to have a lot of pubic hair. It's very sexy and feminine.
,
yes it is fine to shave down there. many people have adverse reactions to hair removal, especially the pubic hair. if you shave too closely you may cause ingrown hairs. Also, the hair will come back heavier.
Its perfectly safe to shave your pubic area. It is a proven fact that your hair does not thicken when you shave and ALSO that it does not 'thin' when you wax. So its up to you which way you want to get rid of your errr. carpet! I can recommend waxing as it takes longer for the hair to grow back. I cant think of any implications at all. and get creative - make some patterns!
I shave all mine completely off, have since I was 15. I never got any ingrown hairs or anything but I understand that some people do. Just, if you do it, do it because YOU want to, not to impress anyone, you know? Believe me, they aren't worth it and when you first start doing it, it itches like crazy as it grows back. Also, you can't shave it every day. You have to let it get a least a little stubby before you do. It should at least be visible, like a five o'clock shadow (lol). If not, you'll irritate your skin.
YES, IT IS OK. I'VE BEEN SHAVING FOR TEN YEARS ALREADY AND MY HAIRS NEVER GOT ANY THICKER OR MORE. I SHAVE ALMOST EVERYDAY. IT GIVES U THE FEELING OF CLEANLINESS A LOT MORE THAN WHEN U HAVE HAIRS. ONCE U START U'LL NEVER WANT TO GET BACK TO HAIRS.
its perfectly okay to shave off the pubic hair yourself or with your boyfriend , but one need to be careful not to cut the delicate skin . Try the electric shavers as they are more safe ,apply talcum or aftershave , it burns intially but gives a cool feeling later.
Yes you can and no there are no long term negative implications. Just do the following.make sure the area is clean, make sure the razor is fresh and sharp enough to avoid in grownhairs and infections, wash afterwards to avoid infections also. Finally, consider using an epilator.hurts a tiny bit but not that much.
Many women shave their pubic hair, I am one of them, and shaving is very normal. If you have never done it before i would suggest that you first use a small sissior to trim your pubes as going right in with a razor would not be very easy, once you have your pubes short (pun intended) use a new razor Gillette Fussion is my favortie. (available in the mens razor issle) and warm water, use a gel shaving cream, and shave as if you were shaving your legs. Duhh use caution when you are shaving around you labias, (got cut once and that was not fun) Ever put a band-aid on your vagina. ?? LOL
A second way to get rid of pubes is to wax, I have never liked home waxing, so I visit a day spa, and have a professional do it for me, it is a bit painful, but is a better way to "clean up" the tech will with a small wooden paddle spread hot wax on your pubic area, and with small swatches of fabric pull the hairs out, the wax helps open the hair folicle, to ease the pian. (think 40 yr old virgin movie)
Last way to do it is to have your partner help, this can always be fun, then you get to help them shave down too.
And the best thing is, if you do not like the way to look shaved, the hair will grow back and it will NOT grow back thicker.
