ladies, if you've had twins..?

my friend recently had twins, and she sais that she new she would have twins because sometimes when she menstrated she would double up, meaning she would 'pass' (for lack of a better word) 2 eggs instead of one, i just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else who has had multiples.?

In an the years of menstruation, I didn't know I passed an egg.

Oh well.

Yeah, I'm not sure how she would know she was passing two eggs instead of one since human eggs are microscopic..
