I'll take the economic approach on this one:
If a college girl does not become pregnant and possibly a single mother, then assuming she graduates, her lifetime earnings will be significantly greater than a young woman without a degree and what she will pay in taxes life time will more than offset the negligible actual cost of the birth control pills.

Katie Girl is right . If all women had access to free birth control ,they would also have a better opportunity to enjoy the same economic advantages of the above college girl.
