about Ortho cyclen birth control pill?
it has cleared up my acne but for how long and why does some birth control pills cause acne ive been on ortho almost 1 year will it keep my skin clear another one do you have to take the inactive green pills i never have but am i suppose to?

I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for 6 years and my face is still clear, and I don't take the pills in the middle, those are just to keep you in habit of taking a pill everyday, good luck
Hi: The inactive green pills is for you to remember to drink the next pack. Also those green pills is only sugar nothing else. Make sure you have a check with your gynecology ever year because birth control pills can cause you cancer.

The inactive pills are just sugar pills, there to remind you to take the pill every day. It's fine to not take them as long as you know they're inactive(there are some brands of birth control that don't have 7 reminder pills).
