Does one's period really stop in water?
because i was thinking about joining the swim team and i really don't fill comfortable using a tampon.
Answers:
On Salt water it could, but don't do it in a pool, i don't think it does
No it doesnt It may become lighter depending on you. But no it doesnt so don't worry though because it may be uncoftrable at first but you get use to it. Just try it. Plus swimming reduces cramps. GOOD LUCK!
Mine did not, but it slowed down a little..
I don't think so.
well when im on my period and i go to the water my period stops
no I don't thin k it does
That's what I was told
Yes, it does!! Trust me, I know.
thats what tampons are for when you swim
yes
Wow!> thank you for 2 points
Have you tried using a tampon when you have a heavy flow day?
Think about it. Why would being in a swimming pool cause your uterine lining to stop shedding?
mine sure doesn't
No, it doesn't stop. The muscles in that area tend to tense up a bit more in water so it holds it in better, but it would not be wise to be on swim team without the use of tampons, I don't think.
For me it slows down a lot. I can go in the water without a tampon unless it's my first day or I'm having heavy flow.
That's a dirty myth started by women to make young girls feel more comfortable about bathing during their period.
nah
I dont think water stops it.then every girl would just sit in water when their on their rag. Well at least I've never heard of that. You should really get used to using a tampon. They work Wonders!
nope. just gets diluted.
just use the tampon. it isn't worth not joining the swim team I say.
It does not stop in water!
Wear a tampon while swimming--or risk great embarrassment!
no it doesnt but sometimes when u take a shower with a cold water it slow and with warm water and will be fast.
no dont be silly, the only way to swim in water is with a tampon, if you dont feel comfortable using one, you must'nt have it in properly because you shouldnt be able to feel it
Yes once you get in the water your bleeding stops but when you get out go straight to the bathroom and put something on.
If you don't know for sure, use a tampon. Save yourself the embarrassment of leaving a blood trail. They are really much more comfortable than pads anyway.
No, it doesnt stop in water. I wear tampons when I swim. If you are uncomforable with them-there are different sizes out there-especially O.B. There are all kinds. All you need to do is use them when you swim, during your periods. You wont have to use them too often. Otherwise, there is nothing more gross or more embarrasing than seeing period discharge in the water.
No, but this has info on natural way to have much less bleeding and discomfort during menstruation.
