Is it ok to not take/miss the placebo pills at the end of a birth control pill pack?

I think it's fine, but my husband freaks out a little, so I just wanted to ask! Thanks!

Answers:
They are just there to keep you in the habit of taking your medicine. You do not have to take them.
It is perfectly fine to skip those pills. There are no active ingredients in them. They are just there to keep you in the habit of taking your pill, and to remind you when it is time to start your next pack. As long as you keep track of when you need to start taking the next pack, it doesn't matter.
I've never taken them. They explicitly say they're just "reminder pills," so I don't bother.
should be no reason for concern. Especially sense it is just a sugar pill just make sure you get back on track with the other ones.
It is perfectly fine. I do the same thing. They are just sugar pills. They have nothing in them whatsoever. Gosh, he could take them and nothing would happen. :D
