Will there be scars or marks after c-section? What is the width & length of it?

Answers:
Usually the incision is made in the upper part of the pubis, very low and under the bikini line.
It is an horizontal skin wound, that heals perfectly and it is virtually not visible unless the woman has tendency to keloids.
About the size, it is around 15 cm wide even though that varies on the patient. No width since the closure is perfectly neat and becomes with the time in an imperceptible line.
That is everything. Be aware that in case of emergency, some surgeons would rather use the fastest vertical incision, that is very visible and difficult to correct.
So, before going to a c-section be sure to ask for the horizontal very low incision. They will understand what do you want.

yes, very ugly ones. The size depends on your doctor
Yes 4-6 inches and 1/2 wide. Any further kids will be coming out that same incision as well.
Yes. Mine is about nine inches long and a quarter of an inch wide.

A scheduled c-section leaves a fairly attractive scar. Just above the pubic bone, horizontal. Size depends on the size of the mother, and the size of the baby. I'd say anywhere from 5-8 inches. Usually very narrow.

However, an emergency c-section scar can look pretty bad. Those are vertical incisions, from the naval to the pubic bone. These are often crooked and kind of lumpy scars. They're done because they're faster, and time is what matters in an emergency.
Why go for a C-section? Natural birth is the best. Unless the doctor see your baby need a C-section to take out.
Well, there will be this thin line when it heals unless you have keloids which means there are bumps along the lines.

My son is 14 mths already (you can see his cute pics at http://verityy.blogspot.com ) but my scar still seems to be healing in progress even though it is no longer painful since 2 weeks after i delivered.

Mine was intially about 12 cm but as I lost weight and shrinked, so did my scar.. haahaha.. now it is only about 8cm.

Natural birth is better as there are no visible scars. I would have opted for natural birth if not for the fact that my baby's head was stuck halfway. ;)
