How are women supposed to wipe??(women only pls)?
Ok, I'm confused. I know they say front to back, but please be more specific. Are you supposed to start from the pee hole going the other way? Or the top and go to the pee hole? Which way is the correct way?

Poor thing, all these answers are either wrong or rude. Which shows that none of them know so don't feel bad for asking. To wipe front to back, start from the urethra (pee hole) and wipe back. The rectum and the area around is not very clean. Poop contains tons of bacteria like ecoli. These bacteria are microscopic, so even if you think you are clean, you aren't. The idea is to not drag these bacteria to the vaginal area or to the urethra. A woman's urethra is only about 2 inches long which is not very far for those little suckers to migrate up. This causes a UTI (bladder infection). Don't think so hard about it wiping one way, then another. Too complicated and easy to contaminate!

From the pee hole back to the anus. That's front to back.
Good rule of thumb: Begin at pubes, wipe in a semi-circular motion until you've reached a**. Stop wiping.

The basic rule is to try and wipe away from the labia. To clean the anal area wipe towards the back. To clean the urethral area, wipe towards the front. The goal is to avoids getting urinary tract germs or fecal matter into your vagina which can cause infection.
I think some of the other answers here were very insensitive and rude.
Whether you start from the top or from the pee hole, the reason fof front to back is that you do not get bacteria from the back passage into your front passages.
