can anyone help me?
i have a cyst on one of my ovaries and i go back tommorrow for a 1 month checkup. what will they do if it hasnt gotten smaller?

my girlfriend has cysts on both ovaries and she went to her dr.and she done test to make sure it wasnt cancer and 1 was infected so her gyn. gave her pills to kill the infection and now she goes for surgery in oct.2nd. to have them removed.hers was getting bigger so now they have to remove them.my girlfriend said if you need to know anything or just talk for me to give you her e-mail.its colt1970sara@yahoo.com..good luck dear.

u can remove it so easly, and this is better.
one thing they might do is lay you on a table like your getting a papsmear and they use this machine to insert in your vagina and it freezes them off im not exactly sure but i know this procedure is not painful
if it has gotten bigger, or if there are more than one, then there is a change they will have to remove it. Its a simple procedure that is done thousands of times a year. They need to protect you from the possibilty that it is a malignant cyst so they may want to biopsy it to make sure that you are ok. Try not to panic, because most of the time, a cyst is just a cyst.
i had a cyst. they checked it for cancer. they did a biopsy to make sure it was not cancerous. most cyst in time will go away. but the bioopsy thing was unpleasent. they go through your vagina and with an ultra sound machine find the cysts and the take a chunck of it off. you are awake. they gave me something to calm me, but it did nothing. it was painful, and i cried. but it was not cancerous. so good luck.
