If I had unprotected sex a week ago and came on my period yesterday can I be pregnant?

Answers:
some people do have periods throughout their pregnancy, but I would think you are ok. You can only really get pregnant midcycle, but it sounds like you were passed that (if your period came on time).

yes you can
Not likley. But it has happened before.
you could be- but the chances are not likely- try not to worry-
no if you have your period now your not pregnant.. as the egg has already dropped and your getting rid of your uteran wall
Probably not..but just how stupid is it to have unprotected sex at ant time?
no
No.lucky you. You are not pregnant..be careful in the future hun.don't want to ruin your life!
no

****
Unprotected sex can make you get pregnant, you shd next time take the morning after pill
Just bcs you are on your period doesnt mean you are not pregnant, if you have sex on your period you could still get pregnant
Unfortunately you will have to hold your breath and wait to see if there are signs of pregnancy whether or not you are on your period. There are plent y of people who see their period and are pregnant
Sorry for the bad news, most likely though you wont be but you wil have to wait and see
PROBABLY NOT!!
Doubtful but if you don't want baby use protection. However, if you do want one then keep trying. It's fun.
if you had your period a week after having sex (which I assume is what you're saying) then you are fine. no you are not pregnant, because if any eggs were fertilized, you would not be having your period now. Period. (pun intended)
hello r u dumb?
yes, of course you can. Just because you have a period, does not mean you can't be pregnant. Some women have periods for the first trimester of pregancy. I would get a pregnancy test and see what it says to give you peace of mind.
if you started your period when you were supposed to then chances are you aren't pregnant--if that is what you were hoping for then be a little more careful next time.
We'll presume you know your partner well so you've no need to worry about grotty diseases. But if you don't, then I'd be more worried about what you might have caught at this stage.
Your need not wory as it appears you had sex in the safe period and in the normal course periods have started. Givn below is the theory on this subject and you can calcuate and see:

First, one should know the duration of the cycle, i.e. first day of the last menstrual bleeding to the first day of the present menstrual bleeding. This is the duration of the menstrual cycle.

This duration varies from person to person & is usually between 26 to 31 days.

Ovulation approximately occurs in the middle of the cycle, i.e. duration of the cycle - (minus) 14 days (this also varies).

A week before and a week after the approximate day of ovulation is considered to be Fertile period.

The days apart from this is called the safe periods, where the fertilization does not takes place.

So, to calculate the safe period you must know the fertile period.

Calculation of fertile period: The shortest cycle minus 18 days=1st day of fertile period. The longest cycle minus 10 days= last day of fertile period.

Ex: if a women's menstrual cycle varies from 26days to 31days cycle,
The shortest cycle [26days] minus18days=8th day.
The longest cycle [31days] minus 10days=21st day.

Thus, 8th to 21st day of each cycle counting from first day of menstrual period is considered as fertile period.

Period other than this fertile period in a menstrual cycle is considered as SAFE PERIOD.

If one wants to avoid pregnancy avoid intercourse during fertile period. Safe period is safe for sexual activity
i'm not sure..check with doctor
It's less likely because when you had unprotected sex (assuming that this is a regular period) was well after your ovulation cycle, which is 12-14 days from the first day of your last period.

If you don't want to use condoms you should invest the time to figure out your exact ovulation cycle (you need a basal thermometer), but remember it's technically possible to get pregnant, just less likely during certain periods of time.
Yes anything is possible but i dont think you will be, but dont take my word for it. You will find out next month if you dont come on, or do a test in another couple of weeks if you are worried. In the future i would think about going on the pill, even if you dont have unprotected sex all the time. If you are in a situation having unprotected sex then you are very likely do get pregnant as you well no so obviously if you are on the pill, if you take it correctly then you will be safe from pregnancy and you wont have the worry of being pregnant. its a bit late now as after you had unprotected sex you should of gone and got the morning after pill free from the family planning or you have to pay for it from the pharmacy, unless you are actually trying to get pregnant of course. But i do know of pregnacys where they have actually had regular periods through out there pregnancy.
not likely
Absolutely not.
a week before your period? not possible.
i dont think so.. but better get a pregnanacy check done for your peace of mind.
it is possible - if u miss or have an unusual period (for u) nxt time then id go 4 a pregnancy test & in future use a condom!most women ovulate 14 days after thier period but that doesnt mean that its safe 2 have unproteced sex jus b4 or after - this is only an average, i ovulate 20 days after mine!
