Tips on running 10k?

I want to enter an 10k run on 19th november. Do you have any tips or website with a good training program. I'd like to be able to complete the race in one hour.

I would say to build up your stamina. Run further each day till you work yourself up to 10k. Make sure and strecth.
My sister ran one and the recommendation that she found was to start out running for two minutes and walk two minutes. Do this three times, three days a week. the next week go to run three walk two. Do this three times, three days a week. THe next week Run four walk one, three times three days a week. Keep increasing until you can make it the whole length of a 10k.
