OK, i'll admitt it. I'm kinda young and i masturbate. I feel guilty. None of my family knows. I dont even tell my friends because they might get mad at me and think i'm wrong. Is this normal? Am i wrong?

Masturbation feels good, appears to solve certain problems, and certainly requires little. Also, a large proportion of people practise it. But all this doesn't make it ideal. It shares similar traits to other social vices such as alcoholism, illicit drug use and promiscuity- they all promote a false sense of ones self, giving temporary highs whilst making it more difficult to find true joy and peace. If it was so great you wouldn't hide it from your family.
