can having sex on your period prolong it?
i had sex on my period, and now its stayed longer than usual , did the sex affect my cycle?(but ive always had very abnormal cycles)
Answers:
It shouldn't, but it's possible.
It effected mine
Your period, and your menstrual cycle are controlled by hormones. Having sex won't effect the hormonal cycle. However, when you are on your period the cervix is soft and very tender, and could be bruised during sex, which could cause extra bleeding.
Technically, no. In fact, it should make it shorter, if anything(if you orgasm). An orgasm contracts your uterus and helps shed the lining. It also helps with cramps, since cramps are your uterus trying to shed the lining on it's own. I much prefer orgasms for that. :)
