I found out today that I am pregnant. 5 weeks. 1 week ago I was admitted to the hospital and given isotope??

I was given a stress test because of an abnormal ekg. What are the chances that I can have a normal child. Has anyone ever been through this?? Please help.

5 weeks pregnant menstrual dates = 3 weeks pregnant actual dates. One week ago= 2 weeks pregnant when exposed. The embryo is still traveling to the womb and hasn't implanted at that time. It is just implanting now. So, the question is can a radioactive isotope affect embryonic life at the 4 week stage. This is a tough one, because it is just forming. You may want to google "radioactive isotope exposure in embryo". Make sure it was a radioactive isotope before googling because you just said "isotope"
you have to ask your doctor. more than likely it will be normal
