I had a hysterectomy a year a ago and suffer from constipation, what should I do?
Answers:
Drink prune juice or get some cascara sagrada at your local health food store.
the two most likely are not related, most likely
Try Metamucil or Benefiber, they are both good for it.
well u should start to put ur finger up ur anus sooooooooooooo far that u start to scream and then that should do. rember to hit the prostate
I have had one as well within the past year, but do not have that problem. I would (if it were me) probably add a fiber caplet such as metmucil to my diet. If that doesn't work, check with your doctor. Good Luck!!
If you are still taking pain meds, that is probably the culprit. Also, you can take an over the counter stool softner like Colace, (Docusate Sodium)
Without doing the fiber thing, seriously coffee helps I swear. Two cups in the morning and it will help. Also I would suggest a stool softener, walmart brand works fine, it helps with constipation believe it or not, but try the coffee!
A hystertomy should not affect your bowels. Buy abag of prunes and eat several every night before bedtime.
my mom has the same problem as you. She seems to get alot of help from drinking special green teas that have a natural laxative. You can find them in oriental markets
