Workout with a toddler?

I need help, I've been trying to find a way to workout when I have my 15month old son, i feel like like ive tried everything but nothing seems to work, He follows me everywhere and when i try to put him in his room with the baby gate up he stands there and cries and it breaks my heart. its not his fault i need to work out everyday. and going to the gym isnt an option right now. Please help..

The best way to work out, ( I say the best way because I lost 16 sizes from this) doesn't require you to leave your home even. You can do floor exercises in front of your t.v. during commercials. By doing this you end up working out much more than you would have, but leaving the house or going to the gym. If you need some cardio, you can play music and dance while you clean the house. Believe it or not it works great. I have three children and don't have the funds to go to the gym so that's how I lost my weight. Plus it boosts your energy level big time. It seems like the more you do the more energy you have.


Can you push him in a stroller or take him to the park? That's some exercise for you.
Put him in his stroller and walk. I used to do sit ups with my legs bent and rest my babies on my legs and lift them up and down, they thought I was just playing with them some times I would do step and put down a book for them to do step with me. You can get creative and still get your exercise in.
