Why is it that when I am menustrating I always poop more often then when Im not menustrating?

Think its to do with hormones but why exactly I dont know.

However, your digestive tract is also lined with smooth muscle. In many women, the same hormone will cause peristalsis in their digestive tract and they go to the bathroom more (also, get cramps).
The cramping and pressure cause your bowels to move.
