How can I fix my messed up sleeping pattern?

First off, no sleeping pills no matter how tempting. They are addictive and can mess you up even more (people can get addicted to them the way they can to illegal drugs.)
Also, they aren't effective unless you sleep for a certain (usually long) amount of time. If you get up earlier, you will be VERY groggy.
If you want to fix your sleep cycle, do schoolwork or read in bed and create firm rules for yourself about when to get up and go to bed. Go to sleep a half hour earlier each day, and don't eat large meals before bed. Get up at a fixed time (don't be too drastic... go for a comfy 9AM or 10AM.) Hope this helps!
Try to do a strenuous activity like cycling or something that will make you physically tired, and go to bed half an hour earlier as time goes on.
every night, try going to bed an hour earlier.. then just add an hour each night and you'll get used to it.. if that doesn't work ,try sleeping pills... but don't use more than reccomended!
Set an alarm, get up at that time.no exceptions. Get exercise as suggested, start winding down at 9, meaning no TV, music, phone calls. Read school work in bed. That'll put you to sleep!
I have this problem too, I sleep at 5 am or dont sleep at all. And I always wake up after 1 pm. I fixed this problem by sleeping at around 10 pm since I wake up at 5:30 am. That way I have 7 hours of sleep. I do this as many times as I can.
Ask a friend or family member to join you. Ask them to wake you earlier and earlier each day, and to keep you from taking naps (you will automatically want to go to be for teh night earlier and earlier).
well to reorder your sleeping habit is virtually as easy as a walk in the park but to walk in the park calls for u to be in the park at least(lol).so here is what u do, set the alarm at 12:00 pm for the next 2 or 3 days so that u can eat out an hour or two from ur sleeping quota and get upa bit early. after three days set the alarm at 10:00 pm this will surely make u go to bed earlier than usual. then a few days later try getting up at 8:00 pm and finally at 6:00 pm.u know it always works and i tell u what it has worked 4 me as good as anything u can imagine. once u start eating out some of ur sleep time and get up some what early it will make u go to bed that much early and in a matter of days u will be as regular as a 10 year kid.
