any tips too sleep easier and faster?

Ok this is what I do. This is a bit of a weird one. When I got to bed, I have a long running story that I make up in my head. Within 20 minutes os so I drop off. This stops my brain from wandering and
gets me away from thinking things I have to do and such like. It also stops me from being bored and restless and trying to get to slepp. Sometimes it can be difficult to get me to focus on the story but I just have to kepp trying. Sometimes this means that I’m bored with the story and I ahve to make up a new one. I’ve been doing this ever since I was young so it’s pretty natural. I don’t know what it would be like to try and implement it or whether it would work for anyone else, but it might be worth a try
A hot shower before bed. Reading also makes me sleepy. I read until my eyes can't read anymore then I fall asleep. Don't drink any caffeine before you go to bed.
watch movies late night that will make u sleep
don't worry about it. warm milk is good. White noise like a fan blowing softly.

a warm glass of hot cocoa or milk
switch of any kind of night light or close the drapes so light doesnt seep thru
try meditating for ten mins wit a soothing meditation music(after meditation either the cd stops there or u switch off the radio) and hopefully u will get a good night's sleep.
sleeping pills usually do the trick never had them but the name describes what they do
watch bore movie or listen bore song

have a comfy bed
Seriously, try and find an activity early in the morning and make a commitment to it.
Big glass of warm milk and start reading. I use blind folds too to keep out light.
If possible try to be more active during ur day, wake up earlier and by the time it gets dark most people would be getting tired.
put a couple of drops of lavender oil on your pillow before going to sleep. Lavender makes you feel more relaxed.
It works for me :
- Yoga with relaxing music 1-2 hours before you sleep
- Hot shower before bed.
- Take a banana before sleeping
Some non-additive drugs you can buy off the shelf:
- Melantonin : There are books saying it prolong youth
- Sleep starter by 21st Century brand
While in bed,
- read a boring text book until you feel sleepy.
- count sheeps
- chant something repeating like religious chant or auto suggestion. Must be a line only.
- Meditate while lying down
