i have a cyst on the back of my ear, how should i pop it?

with a needle. its gonna hurt. if you can, get a hypodermic syringe and use that to draw the liquid out.

dont? have it professionally taken off. might hurt less. well..first i'd put a hot rag over it (hot water or warm) because i had one on my eye before (eww gross!) and my teacher said it'd go away if you put hot water over it. GOOD LUCK

i had one and i took a sewing needel and stuck it right in the middle about a 1/4 inch and squezzzzz it while i puled the needel out and it was a mess and it never came back that wae 32 years ago

the best thing to do is go to the doctor and get it lanced it hurts for a min but the pressure makes it feel lot better belive me i have had a ton removed and they usually give you some pain medication and give you antibotic

Seriously, sebacious cysts sometimes take a shot of steroid
into them to keep them from coming back. Or a really good
excision. See a dermatologist-- they aren't afraid of them.
And they'll remove anything you don't like, without an

Zits get popped - cysts don't. If it's poppable, it's a zit. If it is a zit, you can pop it - but I wouldn't recommend trying to do it yourself. Especially where it's at. Call a dermatologist to make sure what it is exactly.
Cysts can be also removed by a dermatologist - usually they do a concentrated spray on the area, and the dead skin just falls right off. They also do the same thing for warts.
