How normal is anal sex in straight people?

i was listening to the radio and a Dr. on the show mentioned it very non-chalantly like it happens all the time. Prior to this show, i havent really heard about anal sex as a regular part of intercourse, i was just wondering if people just assumed it was going to happen like other parts of foreplay.

No it is not a part of regular intercourse-that is not what that part of your body is for-that is why you have sex the normal way -that is what that is made for-anal sex should be painful-being constipated is painful
Well with porn as the number one educational school of "how to please a woman" it's no surprise that both men and women alike think that it's as normal a part of sex and so would be shoving the kitchen sink up there if that was promoted too.
