Ecstacy..What happens now? How bad is it? What are effects?

I have taken ecstacy ONE time and NEVER plan to do it again, I am 15 turning 16 in november and thanks to my bf who has NEVER even been drunk or ever been high and is in good health and cares for me a lot I plan to do something with my life through his motivation, hes 19 by the way. What I am asking is that my bf just found out that I have done this and his philosophy is that he HATES girls who drink and smoke and do drugs, he did not know this about me until we were really getting closer and closer and since now we have a lot of trust in each other and love each other and have now been dating for two months he knows all of the things ive done. he is kind of annoyed because he knows hes dating a chick whose done all of this. But I have only done ECSTACY, ONE time and NEVER will do any kind of drug or anything (drink, smoke etc.) how should my bf feel about this? has me doing all of this stuff changed who I am permanently? How bad am I? Please help. I would greatly apprecaite it.

U r not bad , just alive and curious like most of the ppl, u have to do a lot more than that to change or damage urself, dont worry ur bf is a nice guy but sure he'll calm down, relax life is full of suprises
First of all, relax girl, it is in your past now and you are planning to do it never again so there is no need to make a fuss over it, that would be ridiculous. Your boyfriend cannot judge you over this because it belongs to your past and not his.

Furthermore, taking one ecstasy pill doesn't have effect at all on the long run, you would have to take a lot more for your brain to be damaged in any sense. I know guys who take six up to seven pills during one night and drink with it. They do this for weeks and weeks. It has been scientifically proven that ecstasy does harm to your brain on the long term. They have shown photos of a girl who took ecstasy, who took loads and loads, and showed that her brain, in some areas, was having complete holes in it. As if parts of her brains were eaten by the effect of the tablets. But I am talking about having taken hundreds of pills in a few years time.

Believe me, it doesn't serve you in making any regrets neither should your boyfriend. The fact that you have tried it once, you know the effects and you will never try it again: that's just plain beautiful and noble of you and look at it from a bright point of view: we are humans after all and not angels, although some tend to believe they are already.

we all make mistakes in life, we here on earth are not perfect. I think everyone deserves a second chance in life. I feel you already realized drugs are not for you, and you've confided in your B F he should put trust in you.
You are not a bad person for trying the Ecstacy, we all do things in life that we *learn from mistakes* my saying in life.Mistakes made, Lessons learned!

I feel you really care for him , if not you wouldn't have told him of your past. I feel he needs to be more understanding and accept you for who you are now and to forget the past, work on a good relationship for your future, 2 ppl in a relationship and 2 ppl have to trust.
I experimented with drugs in my past as a teen, but realized they were not good, If I had to live for mistakes I made in my past ,I wouldn't be who I am today , 3 daughters, 3 grand daughters and my parents, friends all forgave me but I had to forgive my self and realize drugs were not for me..Honey we all make mistakes so as long as you realize the dangers in drugs ,I feel your boyfriend should put this in the past where it belongs.
